Ceramic Frit · Matte Frit · Model RFM-01
A ceramic matte frit formulated for matte glaze systems on ceramic wall tiles, with a firing range of 1050-1120°C, an excellent matte effect, a fine and smooth glaze surface, good color development and excellent translucency.

RFM-01 is a matte frit in ceramic frit material, developed for ceramic wall tile glazes and also used in rustic glaze formulations for floor tiles and in polished-glaze applications. It provides an excellent matte effect together with a fine and smooth glaze surface, so matte wall tiles keep a low-gloss look with a smooth touch after firing in the 1050-1120°C range.
The frit is added to matte, rustic or polishing glaze formulations and fired in a ceramic kiln. Color development is good, and translucency is excellent, which supports colored matte glazes and layered glaze decoration rather than a flat, opaque finish.
A defined firing window that lets your glaze recipe be matched to your kiln curve instead of the other way round.
Delivers the low-gloss surface expected on matte ceramic wall tiles.
Supports a smooth tile surface after firing, helping reduce surface-related rework.
Responds predictably to colorants, which helps keep shade matching stable between production batches.
Adds depth to matte and polished-glaze effects where a layered glaze look is required.
Built for good compatibility with glaze formulations and stable melting behavior during firing.

RFM-01 is the wall tile matte frit in this range. Where a different tile body or glaze effect is required, RENOVA also supplies floor tile matte frit, velvet matte frit, polishing frit, wear-resistant frit, transparent frit, titanium frit, boron frit, exterior wall tile glaze and full-polishing glaze; product selection follows the intended application and the production conditions of your line.
RFM-01 is supplied as a ceramic frit and is used as a component of glaze formulations rather than as a stand-alone coating. In practice it is weighed into a matte, rustic or polishing glaze recipe, mixed with the glaze preparation equipment, applied to the tile body and fired in the ceramic kiln at 1050-1120°C. Because the frit must sit inside your existing recipe, compatibility with the glaze formulation and stable melting behavior during firing are the two conditions the product is used to satisfy.
RENOVA operates a 10,000 m² factory established in 2011 with around 50 employees and a combined annual production capacity of 40,000 tons, supported by a technical team of 29 technicians covering development, production technology and application support.
Typical use is in ceramic manufacturing, ceramic wall tile manufacturing and floor tile manufacturing, where the frit is fired in a ceramic kiln after glaze preparation.
Formulation adjustment is part of the supply. After a frit is selected, RENOVA technicians can work with your factory technicians to fine-tune the formulation and the application process according to the ceramic body, kiln type, firing temperature and production process. This is handled through production trials, so suitability is evaluated on your own line rather than on paper only.
RFM-01 is designed for a firing temperature of 1050-1120°C. Share your kiln curve and the frit can be evaluated against it during a trial.
It is used in matte glaze formulations for ceramic wall tiles, rustic glaze formulations for floor tiles, and polished-glaze applications.
An excellent matte effect with a fine and smooth glaze surface after firing.
Color development is good and translucency is excellent, which suits colored matte glazes and layered glaze decoration.
Yes. RENOVA's technical team works with your factory technicians on formulation and process adjustment for the ceramic body, kiln type, firing temperature and production process, evaluated through production trials.
A ceramic kiln plus glaze mixing and preparation equipment. The frit is added to the glaze formulation before firing.
